Comparison of different optimization algorthims for 19 branched irrigation networks.

Results of GESTAR´s optimization module and other two different algorithms for designing 19 irrigation networks, covering 18.000 ha, are compared. GESTAR produces consistently equal or better results than any of the two alternatives.
